National Water Day 2019

APREN marked National Water Day 2019 with a round table dedicated to the theme "Hydroelectricity in Portugal - Challenges". The event took place on October 7 (2h30 PM) at Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon.

The event addressed themes like renewable electricity sector in Portugal, climate change, services and management of hydroelectric power plants and challenges of rivers sustainability.

With this initiative, APREN intended to promote and deepen the dialogue with universities and other stakeholders, drawing attention to the importance of water as a renewable energy source.
