In 2024, renewable electricity at the national level accounted for 80% of the total electricity generated. Hydropower (29.1%), wind power (28.6%), and solar power (15.6%) together accounted for more than half (73.3%) of electricity generation. The remaining renewable energy technologies represented a total of 6.7%, divided into: bioenergy (6.4%) and geothermal (0.3%).
