1st e-auction for the centralised purchase of biomethane and hydrogen

The parts of the electronic auction procedure for the centralised purchase, by CURg (Transgás, S.A.) of biomethane and hydrogen, produced by electrolysis from water, using electricity from renewable energy sources, are now available.

EU gas demand falls 7.4% in 2023 to lowest level since 2008

Portugal was the ninth of the 27 EU member states with the largest decrease. The European Commission launched the REPowerEU energy plan in May 2022, aimed at saving energy and producing clean energy.
