How do I become a member?
Member Category
PROSECUTORS
Holders (individuals or legal entities) of licenses to establish electricity generation centers using renewable sources.
NON-PROMOTERS
Any individuals or groups interested in the technical, legal, financial and economic progress of electricity production from renewable sources and who can unequivocally contribute significantly to the aims of APREN.
The following are rights of all members:
- Participate in General Assemblies;
- Voting in General Assemblies;
- To elect and be elected to the Association's collective bodies;
- To convene the General Assembly in accordance with the provisions of Article 15, paragraph 3;
- To receive from the Association any information that proves to be relevant and timely;
- To resign from your status as an Associate.
The duties of the members include:
- Attend General Assemblies and meetings to which you are summoned;
- To comply with the Statutes and other internal regulations, as well as the resolutions of the Corporate Bodies;
- Pay dues promptly and contribute to other expenses regularly approved under the Statutes and Internal Regulations;
- To communicate your identification data and any changes to it to APREN, in accordance with and under the terms of applicable national and EU data protection legislation;
- Inform APREN about elements related to its activities and categories of Associates;
- To contribute to the pursuit of APREN's objectives and goals.
APREN represents 86% of the total installed capacity of renewable electricity production sources in Portugal.
