The European association does not expect Portugal to install offshore by 2030

Brussels approves the Portuguese-Luxembourgish offshore wind energy project

The European Commission approved, within the framework of the Cross-Border Renewable Energy Projects (CB RES) list, five new initiatives that are now eligible for funding through the CEF – Clean Energy Fund program. Among them is CORES – Comprehensive Offshore Renewable Energy Studies, developed in partnership between Portugal and Luxembourg, announced the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG) on LinkedIn.

31st Auction of Origin Guarantees takes place on September 10th.

In the auction, there will be 2,099,116 megawatt-hours (MWh), distributed across different sources of production: 269,753 MWh of solar, 1,436,603 MWh of wind, 60,914 MWh of hydroelectric, and 331,846 MWh of thermal, relating to periods between February and July of this year.
